The first card after the summer

I've been trying for so long now to be creative and it's quite hard to find that spark that'll set you off. But today I gave myself a kick in the butt and dove in. Picked out some challenges and tried my best to come up with something. The end result isn't all that bad.

The image is Penny Black, colored with Promarker and then distressed. The background in embossed with Quickutz. All the circles are also created using Quickutz. I've use some rubons and chalk for the three smal circles and the two ribbons are sown together. For the inside I've just made a pocket and the embossing is Quickutz then gone over with some sandpaper. I'm not thinking I've mastered the style shabby chic quite yet :)

With this card I'm entering: Cupcake Craft Challenge - A Gift card, Papertake - Dies to Die for, Passion for Promarker - No patterned paper and Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Shabby Chic.

My first teabagcard

My second card for this week. Somewhat impressed of myself. Saw this card for the first time at Kreative Hverdager and thought it was a really good idea, so I decided to make one.

My Penny Black collection is somewhat small so for the decorating inside I went for another brand, not sure which. Couldn't seem to get the camera to focus correctly, but it's only plain white cardboard.

Så var vi igang

Sliter ennå med fargelegging av stempel. Ble ikke seende slik jeg hadde tenkt. Må nok mer øvelse til før jeg blir noen mester. Stempel fra Penny Balck og sketsj fra ukens utfordring hos A Spoon Full of Sugar. Deltar også på Papertakes "Just The One".

Make a Wish

For this card I combined the challenges Penny Black - Something Sweet and Alota - Punch Happy (thought I should give it another try since the other card barely had any punches at all)

Penny Black Challenge 73 - White on White

White on White doesn't sounds that difficult to start with, but it is. After some poundering this is what I ended up with. I don't own any Panny Black Christmas Stamps, but I thought this one work just fine :) And this is my first coloring with Promarkers.
Quite proud today :)
